Description:
- Oversee collections operations to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements
- Implement credit strategies and standards to minimise bad debts and financial risks
- Prepare financial reports and statements for the Accounting & Finance department
- Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a professional and timely manner
- Train and mentor collections staff to enhance performance
- Continually review and improve collections processes and systems
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate collections with business system
Requirements:
A successful Credit / Collections Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in credit control and collections management
- Excellent knowledge of collections processes and legal requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
