Description:
This role will serve as a specialist who applies knowledge of SharePoint technology and business processes to provide tailored solutions for the Sedgman business and d evelop SharePoint strategies within the company.
Position key responsibilities:
- Analyse the organization's needs, design solutions, and implement them in the SharePoint environment.
- Develop and deliver training programs to align with the SharePoint strategy.
- Integrate SharePoint with other software systems and platforms, creating a seamless work environment.
- Define how data will be stored, archived, managed, and organized in SharePoint.
- Collaborate with management, IT, project teams, and other staff to drive successful outcomes.
- Respond to any incidents that occur during the change process and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience in Mining or Minerals processing related industries.
- Proficiency in standard M365 workloads: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
- Proven experience leading testing initiatives for M365 projects.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
