Our rangers ensure that the Queensland’s national parks, state forests and reserves are protected, accessible and valued by all Queenslanders. We work in partnership with local communities and other stakeholders to contribute to the land management, recreational and conservation outcomes across the protected areas. About You

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, land management and working collaboratively. Your planning skills will be key in juggling and meeting competing priorities, while your ability to motivate and influence your team will be the key to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment.

To be successful in the role, you will also have:

  • Ability to manage a planning and evaluation program including associated thematic strategies.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to coordinate and facilitate workshops comprised of various stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders of management planning, particularly First Nation communities.
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
  • High level writing and data presentation skills.
