Description:
The Supplier Quality Warranty Engineer serves as the primary interface between internal team and external suppliers, focusing on resolving supplier quality issues occurring during revenue services. You will lead the efforts to identify, contain, and resolve supplier-related problems, ensuring compliance with quality standards, improving performance, and safeguarding customer satisfaction.

Description
- Serve as the key contact between the internal teams and external suppliers to resolve quality issues in the field.
- Lead and monitor the progress of containment actions, corrective actions, and solution implementation for supplier quality issues.
- Ensure that the Supplier Quality Portal is utilised effectively for warranty-related issues, including proper notifications to suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance during the warranty period, using an escalation process.
- Collaborate with procurement and contract managers to track and consolidate Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) for claims recovery and back charge processes.
- Validate root causes and ensure that implemented solutions address them.
- Support reliability growth activities, and ensure quality issues are captured early during test, commissioning, and revenue services.
- Collaborate with suppliers for quick resolution of issues and ensure compliance with RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) targets.
Profile
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical and/or Quality Engineering.
Experience:
- Experience in engineering, validation, or field reliability growth.
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
- Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and other quality improvement techniques.
- Crisis management experience.
Competencies & Skills:
- Ability to manage stakeholders across various teams and departments.
- Customer-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
