The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA) is seeking an experienced Content Creator to join their team. In this role, reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop high-quality, engaging content that boosts brand awareness, encourages audience engagement, and fosters business growth. You'll have the opportunity to create visual, written, and multimedia content across various digital platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns.

Duties Include

Populate, optimise and publish our new website platform with existing and new product media and content

Create effective templates for product specification sheets, client presentations and technical documentation

Develop and execute an effective content strategy across our website and social media platforms

Create innovative and compelling written, visual content for our digital channels

Optimise content for search engine visibility and user engagement

Collaborate with the marketing consultant to align content with broader campaign objectives

Monitor and analyse content performance, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices

Develop visual content (graphics, videos, banners) using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.

Support video production tasks, including filming, editing, and publishing short-form videos for social media and marketing campaigns.

Edit and proofread content created by other team members for consistency, quality, and accuracy.

Assist with the scheduling and management of social media content across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

Engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and queries in a timely manner.

Research trending topics and competitor content to inform content creation.

Assist with SEO optimisation by conducting keyword research and implementing SEO best practices.

Provide creative suggestions for blog posts, articles, and videos to increase engagement.

Track the performance of content using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.

Qualification And Experience

A Bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant field

Proven experience in a content creation or digital marketing role - at least one year

Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality copy and visual content

Excellent understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) and social media best practices

Proficiency with content management systems and digital marketing tools

Keen eye for detail and style with the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work

Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving

Proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and web platforms like WordPress

Photo editing skills preferable with previous experience on products and architectural photography

Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript (not essential) and other web tools and principles

Salary: $73150 to $90000
