What does the job look like?
Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking casual HC drivers to join our team located in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering single container loads with a variety of freight to major customers. We currently have a casual opportunity available on the afternoon shift working Monday to Friday, starting between 3:30pm and 5:00pm. Key areas:
- Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region.
- Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior.
- Ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed.
- Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures.
- Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus.

- Current HC licence.
- Experience delivering containerised freight throughout the Melbourne region and beyond.
- Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction.
- History of safe work practices & excellent communication.
- Rail experience highly regarded but not essential.
