The Client
Nature Kit Pty Ltd has been operating in for over 11 years starting at a small wholesale mushroom kits. Due to new expansion of their business in logistic and construction avenues for green life and landscaping, they are looking for Supply Chain and Distribution Manager to join our team.
The Role
The role is primarily responsible for all aspects of our expanding logistics and distributions. You are reporting to COO.
The role for hire is a Supply Chain and Distribution Manager based in Windsor, NSW, it is a full-time role with an annual salary at $85,000, depending on experience plus superannuation.
The Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the logistics, order entry, inventory, warehouse and customer service areas including stocktakes
- Drive efficiencies and improvements across your areas of responsibility
- Manage relationships internally and externally
- Manage supplier relationships
- Ensure Customer Service KPI's are met
- The role also requires you to be hands on in all your areas of responsibility, when necessary
- Update company policies and procedures
- Implementation of supply chain optimisation
- Negotiate and Maintain favourable Terms and Conditions including cost and payment terms
- Maintain ordering and tracking process required from Suppliers
- Conduct Regular Meetings
- Develop performance metrics and reporting
- Develop Supplier approval and categorization process
- Preparing and maintaining a trolley tracking system across (Internal Control System) all states to help control the assets on hand and maintain an accurate asset register.
- Organise and allocate runs
- Rostering drivers and warehouse staffs
- A person with out-of-the-box thinking and a positive attitude towards solving problems.
The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce and/or Operations, Supply Chains, and Logistics
- Minimum 3 years of supply chain and distribution management experience in professional capacity
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the operating logistics industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Greenlife transport logistics
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience gained within construction industry
- Provide operational strategies, information, and reporting for the business and senior management
- Strong trend analysis and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills
