What you'll be doing ✨
- You'll deliver mobile therapy in childcare centres, schools, or family homes, all while enjoying the flexibility of handling administrative tasks from the comfort of your home.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop customised therapy plans tailored to assessment findings and individual client objectives.
- Provide evidence based speech therapy sessions based
- Monitor progress consistently, conducting regular reviews and refining treatment strategies as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, psychologists, occupational therapists, and educators to deliver comprehensive care.
- Guide families and caregivers with practical strategies to enhance communication development at home.
- Ensure client records are meticulously maintained, including assessments, therapy plans, and progress updates.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in the field.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent, with current SPA registration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current certification with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Working with Children's Check
- Police Check
