Develop your hospitality skills and embrace a unique environment in a Kitchen Hand/Delivery Driver position, integral to providing support to the catering team at Northern Heritage Motel (Cairns). Join the team and receive full training and support while working with a dynamic environment.
The Position:
- Casual position
- Assist with basic food preparation, including vegetables and salads.
- Food deliveries in van
- Manage stock control, quality checks, and temperature monitoring.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen, food prep, storage, and service areas, with a strong focus on hygiene and food safety.
The Person:
- Hospitality experience is a plus.
- Open manual drivers licence and ability to work unsupervised
- Knife handling, food safety, and preparation skills are advantageous.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
- Positive, can-do attitude, ready to take on any task as needed
