About the Role:

Join our dedicated team as a Client Services Assistant/Security Orderly and play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our Health Unit. This dynamic position offers a variety of responsibilities, including ensuring safety, assisting with patient care, maintaining cleanliness, providing catering services, and helping with portering, all while using the best methods, materials, and equipment available.

As part of your role, you'll assist with maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors, always prioritizing safety and well-being in line with hospital policies and procedures. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a supportive team, helping to manage situations involving agitated or distressed clients, including emergency restraints when necessary.

In addition, you will be a vital part of our Patient Support Services, offering assistance in various designated areas and ensuring patients are comfortably transported throughout the Health Unit. Your contribution will make a direct impact on creating a safe and caring environment for all.

About You:

  • Experience in security roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with a wide range of people including managing conflict and dealing with violent, aggressive and/or agitated people.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages eg. Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.

  • This is a part time vacancy, working 36 hours per week and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
