We have an exciting opportunity within our Public Trees team for an experienced team player. As Tree Works Contract Coordinator, you will support the development, coordination, and implementation of sustainable tree management services that promote the Inner West urban forest as a quality, intergenerational resource, and to deliver tree maintenance services that contribute to the desired community outcomes as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.
Working as part of the Public Trees team and reporting to the Public Trees Manager, the Tree Works Contract Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing contract management of Council’s tree maintenance programs.
You will be community-focused and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the program successfully.

97,685.12 to $110,630.52 + 11.5% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- High level contract management skills with demonstrated experience in developing and delivering tree maintenance contracts that provide value for money and achieve best practice arboricultural outcomes.
- Knowledge of public tree asset management principles and practices including tree risk assessment, inventory database management, quality audits and operational WHS requirements.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
