People Partner
We're looking for a proactive and dedicated People Partner to join our Advisory team within People and Culture. In this role, you'll support the legal practice, manage your own client portfolio, and offer expert advice and guidance on a range of people matters, all while building strong, positive relationships throughout the organisation.

The People and Culture function is a newly established team of passionate and experienced People professionals. Focused on driving best practices and delivering people-centric solutions across the organisation, the People and Culture teams work together to provide expert support and guidance, ensuring compliance and governance while driving continuous improvement and exceptional service. Our commitment is to align with the OPP's statutory and operational requirements, all while championing a people-focused, positive culture.
We're looking for a proactive and dedicated People Partner to join our Advisory team. In this role, you'll support the legal practice, manage your own client portfolio, and offer expert advice and guidance on a range of people matters, all while building strong, positive relationships throughout the organisation.
The People Partner will:
- Provide expert advice and support to managers on all people and culture matters, fostering strong relationships and promoting People and Culture strategies across the office.
- Partner on, change, employee relations issues, dispute resolution, and workplace injury cases, ensuring consistent advice and collaborating with the People Services team on complex cases.
- Contribute to process improvements, support workforce and workload planning, and assist with policy development and payroll management to ensure smooth, effective operations.
About you:
This role enables you to have real impact to organisations culture and people experience. Bringing your HR expertise and strategic partnering experience you will have:
- Deep knowledge of Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement (or similar) and relevant state/federal employment laws, including IR, diversity, equal opportunity, and OH&S.
- Outcomes focus with proven ability to provide strategic advice on People and Culture, employee relations, and health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, able to address complex issues and provide business-focused solutions.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-moving environment with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering practical people centric solutions.
