About the role
Provide specialist coverage for Networking and Security Technology and be responsible for defining enterprise and domain architectures, which are part of the Group-wide architecture; and ensure that solution architectures and designs are consistent.

What you’ll do
- Maintain broad understanding of business and technology capabilities and initiatives across the group
- Provide strategic perspective to group architecture
- Ensure any architecturally significant changes to the technical landscape are reflected in the enterprise architecture repository
- Develop group and infrastructure architecture standards and roadmaps
- Provide guidance and direction around technology impacts of proposed business initiatives
- Evangelise enterprise architecture by demonstrating its value and promoting its effective use across the group
- Set infrastructure IT strategy consistent with wider IT strategy, which is aligned with business strategy
- Ensure that solution architectures are consistent with domain and group architecture
- Accountable for infrastructure architecture governance council that reviews and endorses architectural submissions
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, or equivalent
- Architectural certification (e.g. TOGAF or other)
- Minimum 10 years IT experience
- Minimum 5 years IT Architecture experience
- Strong knowledge and experience on networking technologies is expected, covering LANs and WANs for networking on-premises, on AWS and Azure clouds, and for connectivity from on-premises to the clouds
- Strong knowledge and experience on security technology platforms is expected, covering firewalls, proxies, load balancers on premises, micro segmentation CSPM’s as well as SaaS and managed cloud-native services for AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with ArchiMate is expected
- Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies is desired
- Financial services experience is desired
- A consulting background is advantageous
