About the Opportunity

We are on the hunt for a Partnerships & Events Manager to join our successful Flight Centre Brand Marketing team. Your responsibilities will be for the management, implementation and optimisation of non-travel partnerships (such as those within the sporting and financial sectors), along with the management and implementation of localised, state and national events.

You will be nurturing and strengthening existing partnerships, identifying mutually beneficial partnership opportunities that aid in driving brand goals across increased awareness, consideration and conversion. Being the voice for our partners internally, you will advocate for the partnership to influence decision making, and will be responsible for providing key stakeholders with reporting, including translation of data into tangible insights and recommendations.

Collaborating with multiple stakeholders including state-based leaders and store leaders, you will assist in launching successful customer sales events that drive sales and return on investment. This will ensure that events align with the brand’s marketing and product strategy; understand customer segmentation and product to influence attendance and sales; and ensure that all events are delivered in adherence to Flight Centre brand standards.

Day to day you’ll…

  • Work with existing partnerships to deliver on contractual marketing agreements, while nurturing the relationship to uncover new opportunities, including weekly / fortnightly WIPs
  • Explore new partnership opportunities that align with the brand’s strategies
  • Provide reporting and insights on partnership performance, including recommendations to influence future activity and decisions
  • Manage the calendar and roll out of sales events across Australia, liaising with key stakeholders including state leaders as well as external stakeholders including shopping centres and production agencies, and travel suppliers
  • Work with creative and marketing discipline teams to brief partnership and event related assets
  • Work with teams to build and execute event marketing plans
  • Manage budgets associated with partnership and event activity, ensuring strong ROI / deliverance of KPIs
  • Represent the Flight Centre brand by ensuring all advertising materials are representative of the Flight Centre tone of voice and meet overall brand and legal guidelines
  • Liaise with Procurement and Legal teams on new contracts, revisions and renewals as they arise

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • 4 - 5 years' experience in Marketing and/or Partnership roles
  • Strong time management skills
  • Exemplary attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills (demonstrated to both internal and external customers)
  • Ability to communicate professionally & effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, on all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines at any one time
