Description:
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR support. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide HR/ER advice on workplace matters.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage complaints in line with policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with the implementation of performance management processes and performance improvement plans.
- Support HR initiatives and partner with leadership to develop retention strategies.
- Coordinate terminations, ensuring compliance.
- Assist with projects as required.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within mining, industrial or construction sectors.
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and Industrial Relations legislation.
- Ability to build effective relationships with leaders, team members, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
- Strong coaching skills to guide leaders through performance management and HR obligations.
