Purpose
Our Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the successful development and delivery of innovative digital products and solutions for our clients. This role will work closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of a number of digital projects. They will play a key role in advocating for our clients by nurturing the client relationship and ensuring that their voice is being injected into the strategy and product development process.
The Delivery Lead will manage and control the outcome of projects and service delivery through ensuring strong governance around scope, time, cost and communication activities required to ensure successful project delivery and high client satisfaction. In collaboration with the Managing Director, this role will play a pivotal role in not only ensuring project delivery, but in also defining the client’s vision and ensuring internal work is being prioritized and managed to deliver on this vision.
Responsibilities
The Delivery Lead will be responsible for :
- Directing and managing project delivery engagements from the project initiation to completion.
Defining and control of project costs, scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with the Managing Director and the client.
Developing full scale project plans and associated communications activities.
Working closely with the Program Manager to estimate and plan the resources required for
inception and build phase.
Continually advocating for the client and ensure their voice is being injected into the product and delivery strategy.
Driving the client relationship by developing a trusted partnership. Continually seeking and recommending further business development opportunities, when they arise.
Effectively communicating project progress with all relevant stakeholders (both external client and internal project team). Ensuring the clients expectations are aligned and communicated with the team.
Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths.
Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Tracking these
milestones and deliverables as required.
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and
presentations.
Proactively managing change requests in the project scope, identify potential risks and
devise contingency plans.
Defining project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the
project life cycle.
What are we looking for?
Experience with leading a project or service delivery team.
A strong background in operating in an agile environment, whilst delivering complex digital
projects and products.
A thorough understanding of the project life-cycle and project management
principles
Sound knowledge of how information and technology contributes to business
performance.
Proven experience in the successful management of clients, through
demonstrated commitment to stakeholders success, quality and service.
