Description:
A leading fit out firm are looking for a Site Supervisor/Manager to assist in the smooth running of full office and retail fit outs in Sydney and other regional areas of NSW for a minimum of 6 months.
Each project varies from 4 week - 12 week turnarounds so you will be flexible in moving from job to job as needed on an ongoing basis.
Regional works tend to be weekends. Full accommodation/travel is paid for and all expenses are paid out for the time working away. You would not be expected to work week days when working a regional/weekend rota.
The successful candidate will have a strong fit out background and be confident in their ability to liaise with all stakeholders, subcontractors and site team.
You will manage and coordinate the finishing trades on site, ensuring works are completed to spec, on schedule and within budget. You will be self sufficient with a project management to lean on for support as and when required.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on site
- Monitor work progress in line with schedules and deadlines
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure site meets HS&E requirements
- Collaborate closely with project management to report progress and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Manager on a commercial, fit out space
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies related to finishing works.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
