Responsibilities include:

• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surface to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc
• Apply paint to walls and structures and protect surrounding areas
• Make assessments on paint color, mix and match pigments using multiple techniques and tools
• Remove previous paint using a number of methods to prepare surfaces
• Use differ tools and brushes to apply paints with attention to details
• Support other team members to ensure completion of projects on time and according to specifications
• Work on Residential and commercial work projects
• Understand and comply with industry safety and environmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Relevant Qualifications;
• Minimum 1 years’ of relevant work experience
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools;
• Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities;
• Great attention on details;
• Able to work efficiently with and without supervision;
• Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal tasks.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per year.
