Chefs/Cooks

Description:

We are looking for experienced chefs and cooks for our client in
Mount Isa, QLD. The positions are full time, $65-$85K a year salary + Super depending on the experience and the position.
In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must:

• - Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
• - Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide lines
• - Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
• - Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
• - Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
• - Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade

To be successful for this role you will possess the following:

• - At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is required
  in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
• - Appropriate trade qualifications
• - Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues
• - Guest orientated and passionate about food
• - Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
• - The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
• - Excellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skills
• - Happy to work split shifts
• - Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team
