Description:
We are looking for experienced Chefs and Cooks for our client based in Queensland, off shore of Brisbane's CBD.The positions are full time, $60 - $80K a year salary + Superannuation depending on the experience and the position.
In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must:
- -Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
- -Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines
- - Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
- -Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
- -Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
- - Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade
- - At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is required in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
- - Appropriate trade qualifications
- - Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues
- - Guest orientated and passionate about food
- - Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
- - The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
- - Excellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skills
- - Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team
