In this role, you'll:


Working in this collaborative environment, you will lead the development of major roads and bridge infrastructure projects and manage multi-disciplinary teams of specialists in areas such as road safety, transport management, road and bridge design, community engagement and environmental impact assessment.

Manage project development activities from inception through design, business case preparation, approvals, and delivery readiness including procurement of professional service contractors and subsequent contract management.

Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and the ability to present complex information to TfNSW clients, external agencies, local Councils and community.

You will work with a high performing team of industry professionals to lead investigations, design development, risk management, constructability assessment, stakeholder consultation and environmental assessment of complex major projects.
We have three (3) roles available working on projects in North-West and South-West Sydney.

We are looking at long-term contracts ranging from 18 months to 34 months.

You will have the ability to work in a hybrid flexible environment with the office based in Parramatta approximately two days a week.

Role Description.


About you


You’ll have extensive experience in project planning, development and project management within an infrastructure (roads, bridges) environment. We are very keen to hear from candidates who have managed road infrastructure projects from inception and guided the projects through a business case gate process.

Proven experience in managing and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders on behalf of Government to achieve project objectives.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate the delivery of environmental assessments and assess road designs.

You will be Tertiary qualified in civil engineering with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Possess a valid Australian motor vehicle drivers’ licence and be willing to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasion.
