Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our central warehouse operations in South Nowra, managing both Indigo Love and Few and Far inventory, store transfers, and customer deliveries. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of product care and efficient logistics.
This role is supported by a transport coordinator, inventory coordinator, receiving coordinator and various other direct and indirect team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of premium furniture and homewares
• Maximise the utilisation of our Cin7 Core inventory management system
• Manage relationships with multiple delivery partners, including:
- Internal delivery fleet
- Courier services
- Third-party freight carriers
• Source and maintain appropriate packaging materials for premium furniture and homewares
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to minimise dispatch errors
• Develop and enforce packaging standards to prevent transit damage
• Monitor and report on courier performance metrics
• Coordinate optimal delivery routes and schedules
• Coordinate store transfers between our five NSW locations
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels and organisation
• Lead and develop the warehouse team
• Ensure safe handling of vintage and premium furniture pieces
• Maintain warehouse safety standards and compliance
• Process incoming stock and verify against purchase orders
• Manage warehouse stocktake procedures
• Work collaboratively with the Inventory Coordinator regarding stock movements
• Track and report on key performance metrics including:
- Dispatch accuracy rates
- Damage in transit statistics
- Delivery timeframes
- Packaging costs and efficiency
- Warehouse productivity
• Liaise with retail stores for efficient stock management
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse management
• Experience in managing multiple delivery partners and freight solutions
• Proven experience in furniture logistics and handling
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience with inventory management systems (Cin7 Core experience highly regarded)
• Valid forklift licence
• Physical capability to assist with heavy lifting when required
• Strong attention to detail, especially for handling vintage and fragile items
• Demonstrated experience in KPI tracking and reporting
Desired Qualities:

• Familiarity with South Coast NSW region is advantageous
