Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join our Hygiene (Asbestos) or Sample Preparation team on a casual basis. In this role, you will perform routine laboratory tasks, ensuring accurate and timely results in a collaborative environment. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and analysis of routine samples.
- Compliance with analytical methods and quality MS.
- Preparation of standards.
- Calibration, operation and maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Analysis and recording of data/results.
- Collection of field or factory samples.
- Assist chemists in various tasks including minor repairs of equipment.
- Understand general laboratory QA/QC criteria and NATA accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV (TAFE) or equivalent
- Laboratory experience or similar
- Flexibility with working hours and tasks
