Description:
- Lead and manage a division of the Accounts Payable team
- Oversee all accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and payment runs
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and queries
- Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures
- Prepare and present regular AP reports
- Assist with month-end closing and annual audits
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Provide support and training to Accounts Payable team members
Requirements:
A successful Accounts Payable Team Lead should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
