About This Employer - One of the largest health service providers in the state, servicing 1/3 of the top end. Indigenous programs and services include, corrections, health and well being, mental health, AOD, renal, disabilities and allied health. Our team is a vibrant, multi-disciplinary team who have come from across Australia, with a mix of experiences and specialties.
Position Specifics - Reporting to the Nursing Unit Health Manager. These key autonomous roles are part of our multidisciplinary Indigenous health care team, providing evidence-based health practises/sessions and support to our indigenous population in Alice Springs and surrounding communities. who are in need of health care, including social and emotional wellbeing needs.
Essential Skill Set:
- AHPRA registration
- A demonstrated understanding of Indigenous health care issues
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with Indigenous communities
- Computer literacy with ability to use electronic patient databases
