About the role
South West Compressors is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Officer to join their team in Davenport WA 6230. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role in the company's finance department, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. This position is perfect for a semi retired professional who is looking to work with a growing professional team but not full time hours.
What you'll be doing
- Process and record accounts payable invoices in a timely manner
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as needed
- Provide support to the finance team as required
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficient with myob accounting software and Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accurate data entry and problem-solving skills
- experience with payroll will be looked upon favourably
- BAS qualification or similar will be looked upon very favourably
