Description
- To read and interpret engineering drawings.
- To follow welding procedure specification (WPS) and to weld to standards.
- To weld mild steel and stainless steel with MIG and TIG.
- Problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.
Profile
You will require the following to be successfully considered for this position:
- MUST have Cert III in Fabrication or equivalent.
- Previous experience with MIG/TIG.
- Valid work rights.
- As part of the recruitment process, the successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and undergo a police check before starting the role.

- A strong ability to read engineering drawings and identify weld symbols is essential. If you're a bit out of practice with your welding symbols, take some time to refresh your knowledge after applying for the role.
- The selection process includes a weld test, which may involve any positional weld, such as vertical up or overhead.

Job Offer
- Work hours - Day ( 6 AM - 2:30 PM)
- 6-month ongoing assignment with the view of permanency at the end for the right candidate.
- All necessary PPE will be provided.
- Secure and spacious onsite parking is available.
