This modern, fast-growing pharmacy is located in a well-established suburb just 13km from Melbourne's CBD. Known for its leafy streets, reputable schools, and vibrant café scene, this location offers easy access to the freeway, city, and public transport.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Technician to join a dedicated team in a thriving pharmacy. Working alongside the Pharmacist in Charge, Compounding Pharmacist, and an experienced team of technicians and assistants, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality compounded medications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing customised medications (creams, capsules, and suspensions) as per prescriptions.
- Accurately measuring, mixing, and processing raw pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Maintaining equipment and managing stock levels.
- Keeping thorough and accurate compounding records.
Work Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week . Earlier starts or later finishes may be available as part of a permanent roster, based on candidate preferences.
- Certificate in Pharmacy (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support) or relevant pharmacy training.
- Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy or pharmaceutical lab in Australia.
- Strong ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with pharmacists, colleagues, and customers
- $35 per hour to start , with potential for growth.
