About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to provide expert allied health leadership and operational management based on the strategic direction and priorities established by the MNHHS and Community and Oral Health Directorate.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Demonstrates expert and comprehensive knowledge of contemporary clinical practice particularly relevant to Extended Care Team models of care for patients requiring complex care and case management to enhance patient's quality of life and minimise hospital readmissions.
  • Ability to design, develop and implement innovative standards that promote efficiency and effectiveness and supports innovation and continuous improvement resulting in sustainable high standards of patient focused care aligning to professional practice standards and legislative requirements.
  • Actively participates as a senior member of the Allied Health leadership team to provide high level support, advice and information to the Community and Oral Health Directorate Executive on professional clinical issues.
  • Demonstrated advanced oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in the dynamic inter-health care environment including negotiation, consultation, effective written skills and ability to use management information systems to guide decision making.
