In these roles, you will:* Undertake data analysis and interrogation and synthesis, to determine present and future trends within regulated sectors and explain what it means to decision makers.
* Deal with regulated entities' staff, assessing their formal applications for additional revenues or pricing strategies and determine if net benefits accrue to Victorians.
* Preparing presentations to commissioners, for formal decision or recommending action.
* Support your colleagues and other commission staff to deliver best practice economic regulation that promotes efficient markets and benefits the long-term interest of consumers.
While subject matter experience across energy, water, transport or local government sectors is valued, we also value analysts with good generalist skills who will be a positive cultural fit for our adaptive team. If you have a flair for data cleaning, analysis, visualisation and coding these roles will also appeal to you.
