Project Manager (Building Management System)

Why is this role for you?

You are a Project Engineer or a project manager who has an electrical or HVAC background and you know your way around upgrading Building Management Systems. Particularly complex ones within live environments like a hospital or airport for example.
You enjoy collaborating with lots of stakeholders and you enjoy taking ownership of the project to get the best result for everyone involved.
You may have worked for a consultancy before but if you haven't that's fine. As a boutique consultancy with 20 staff the directors are hands-on and actively involved in what you do and how you can personally develop your skills and climb the career ladder.
You won’t get bored doing the same old projects. They work across most sectors including capital work upgrades, aged care facilities, senior living, high rise residential, data centres, commercial, education and sustainability projects to name a few.
In the last 2 years they haven’t lost any members of staff and after recently hiring a few APM’s they now need a PM who can start on a complex $6million project which is stage 1 of a 3 stage project.
Starting salary is in the $120-$160k + super range plus a yearly bonus paid at Christmas.
What can you tell me about the company?

After almost 11 years in operation their team of 20 is led by 4 hands on directors who have previously worked at the likes of Lend Lease, CPB and Multiplex so they know what they are talking about.
Staff retention is high and being relatively small they are agile and can make quick decisions regarding you and the business. Your effort and work won’t get unnoticed and there are plenty of staff there who have enjoyed promotions over the years.
They do regular team bonding and events, a yearly conference away and feedback from staff is that they feel valued and listened to.

If you can tick the 3 points below then we’d love to hear from you;

• You have 3+ years experience as a PM delivering projects in Australia with a consultancy or builder or contractor in the HVAC/Services sector
• You are a great communicator and have the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in a live environment project
• You have a good work ethic and don’t mind a hybrid model of working in the city office and on sites with the client.
