The Role
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join a growing organization and provide critical support for a mix of in-house and SaaS applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and improving application support processes.
Responsiblities
- Overseeing and maintaining critical business applications to ensure uptime and performance meet established SLAs.
- Addressing and resolving application incidents in alignment with business SLAs.
- Ensuring the timely completion of essential business processes, such as payment processing, bank statement reconciliation, and funding reports, in accordance with SLAs.
- Collaborating with the application delivery team to facilitate handovers of new applications, provide feedback, and resolve any identified issues.
Technical Skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to tackle challenges effectively.
- Capability to break down complex problems into structured, actionable tasks and solutions.
- Proficiency or working knowledge of SQL for writing queries and troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Familiarity with Azure technologies and cloud-based application environments.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, and assessment of Impact and Urgency.
