We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administration Officer / Administrator to support business operations in Bathurst and Blayney. This is a contract/temp role within the Administrative and Support Services industry, ideal for a mid-level professional looking to expand their expertise in administrative processes, stakeholder engagement and compliance.

Description

  • Financial Administration: Perform daily bank reconciliations and process financial transactions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, parishes, and offices.

  • Customer Service: Provide face-to-face and phone-based support to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues.

  • General Administration: Assist with reception duties, schedule appointments, organise catering, and monitor office supplies.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and maintain accurate records.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing administrative efficiency.

Profile

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role, ideally within financial or support services.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Drive.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial software such as Ultracs Banking Software or CBA Commbiz.

  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and document management systems.
