Due to ongoing demand and company growth, we are seeking motivated Open Cut Examiners/Mining Supervisors who want to work in an atmosphere where they are supported and recognised for providing highly effective supervision and leadership to mining clients across NSW.

Qualifications & experience
- Current NSW Practising Certificate - Open Cut Examiner of Coal Mines Other than Underground Mines or working towards the qualification
- Current HLTAID0011 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Provide First Aid Training
- Current NSW Security Clearance and NSW or equivalent driver's licence
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience leading and supervising teams in open cut operations.
- Understanding and evidence of multi skill equipment operation
- Applicants must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think on your feet, reacting to dynamic and changing environments to ensure best outcomes for client.
- Experience in establishing genuine and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders, promoting the growth of trust of long-term relationship with valued clients.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide effective supervision of workers in open cut operations, effectively engaging with workers and managing risks to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and client safety management systems
- Effective management and allocation of equipment/resources to maximise business opportunities and align with mine plans to meet both customer/contractual requirements.
- Detailed reporting of results of statutory inspections and shift/production performance reporting
- Effectively communicate at multiple levels and demonstrate strong leadership skills to influence safety and productivity performance
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
