The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our team for 8-week short-term contract. The role supports the building and maintaining of relationships with Exchange for Change’s key customers including suppliers and material recovery facility operators. The role is at the core of our business, requiring identifying and educating new customers, and understanding the customer needs to deepen relationships, improve service delivery and overall experience.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Ideally 2-3+ years in a similar role.
- Motivated and self-starting.
- Highly developed customer service and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to communicate well with customers from different backgrounds and quickly change approach to the interaction based on the customer’s experiences and situations
- Ability to show empathy and skill at de-escalation of issues and understand when to escalate
- Exhibit a high level of patience, to help customers navigate complex compliance requirements
- Keen to grow and contribute to a high-performing and fun team and organisational culture.
