If so, we’d love to have you on board!We are a traditional, hybrid and self-publishing company seeking an Independent Client Acquisition Assistant to help identify and connect with talented authors who are ready to pursue publishing. This is a voluntary role designed for a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously to help grow our author base.About the RoleIn this role, you’ll independently research, contact, and engage with aspiring authors, sharing information about our traditional publishing services. You’ll be instrumental in identifying potential clients and building relationships with them—without needing day-to-day guidance or support from our team.
ResponsibilitiesIndependently research and identify potential authors using writing forums, social media platforms, and literary events.Reach out to writers and provide them with clear information about our publishing services.Maintain and manage a database of leads, tracking all communications and follow-ups.Develop and execute your own outreach strategies to attract new clients.Create basic outreach materials (emails, messages, or posts) to share with prospective authors.Represent our company at online or in-person writing events, workshops, or conferences.
What We’re Looking ForSelf-Starter: Ability to work without supervision or frequent guidance.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive and creative approach to networking and outreach.Familiarity with social media platforms, writing communities, and literary trends.A passion for books, publishing, and supporting writers.Strong organisational skills to manage leads and communications effectively.
