What we are looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Brisbane Property & Real Estate team on a full-time basis. Candidates will require a minimum of 3 years proven experience working as a paralegal within the residential and commercial conveyancing space.
Skills / knowledge requirements include:
The role would involve the preparation of documents, conducting title searches, liaising with clients (and their solicitors) on amendments, signing, registration and distribution of finalised documents, drafting of correspondence to clients (and their solicitors), all of which are to be reviewed by Partners or senior lawyers.Ideally candidates will have strong oral and written communication capability, excellent time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise tasks whilst handling a high volume workload in a fast paced environment. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of the Land Title Act , the BCCM Act, the PAMD Act, the Land Sales Act and the RSL Act and have extensive knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures. Experience with PEXA and a high level of computer literacy is desirable.
