The Role
The Collaborative and Autonomous Systems Project Office is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to fill our Information and Records Management Officer role. In this role, you will ensure records are accurately captured, securely stored and easily accessible in Objective, supporting business operations and regulatory requirements.
The Information and Records Management Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform information and records management work within an integrated workforce. You will be required to maintain compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, and have a sound understanding of the Department's mission and policy requirements.
About our Team
The Information and Records Management Officer role sits within the Business Operations Team. This is a collaborative and dynamic team responsible for providing enabling support functions to the Project Office.
As a key member of this team, your primary focus will be on managing records and information governance, but you will also work closely with colleagues who specialise in unit operations, workforce management and unit security. We take a holistic approach to our work, supporting each other to deliver outcomes, and we actively share knowledge to build team capability. Cross-skilling is an important part of our culture, ensuring resilience, professional growth and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and proactive. You will have a robust working knowledge of Objective or similar, and a comprehensive understanding of information and records management principles including relevant legislative and compliance frameworks.

Eligibility Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Negative Vetting Level 1”.
