A bit about you...
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our QLD based team. This is a hands-on Sales and New Business Development role, with the successful applicant expected to spend time working in, as well as on, the business and building lucrative relationships, while being supported by our tight-knit National Sales Team.
Your responsibilities…
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Develop and execute outbound campaigns, including cold calls, cold emails, and follow-ups on existing leads.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by strategically planning the market, utilizing tools you can help enhance over time.
- Ensure proactive, clear and effective communication with clients at all stages.
- Share updates on sales activities and market trends to help shape strategy, planning, and sales support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data for seamless internal communication.
- Foster strong, ongoing relationships with both potential and current clients and partners, delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs and challenges.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of BSV and LED products and confidently communicate their value to clients.
- Represent BSV with passion at industry events and conferences, generating leads through networking.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to clients and key stakeholders.
This role will involve frequent intra and interstate travel. You will also have the opportunity to attend a number of events representing BSV, including tradeshows, luncheons and sporting events, as well as internal conferences to build your LED knowledge, support each other to achieve our goals as a team.
Your qualifications and experience…
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- Access to own vehicle (a generous vehicle allowance is provided for this role).
- Proven track record in identifying new opportunities, converting leads, and expanding an existing client base.
- Strong ability and motivation to meet and exceed KPIs.
- Experience with high-volume CRM systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Salesforce) is highly valued, but not essential.
- Experience in selling within the BSV pillars of hospitality, sports and gaming and understanding of the local market is preferred.
Substantial experience in our key pillars of sport, hospitality or out-of-home will be highly regarded, though not essential.
Face-to-face interviews will be conducted from the 11th-14th February.
