Description:
Full-time Driver and Box Sorter to join our small team at a Licensed Post Office in Greenslopes , Queensland.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient lodgement and sorting of parcels and packages, ensuring our customers receive their pick-up service in a timely and professional manner.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport parcels and packages to their designated destinations
- Sorting and organising incoming packages to ensure efficient distribution
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of yourself and others
- Assisting with other general LPO and logistics tasks as required
- Picking up stock from our storage site and delivering to customers.
What we're looking for
- A valid driver's licence and experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- A team-oriented approach and the willingness to collaborate with others
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre packages of varying weights
What to Expect
- A daily run schedule listing the business customers that you will need to drive to (between 5-20 stops)
- Filling out data on Google Sheets each stop.
- Manual handing of 1 - 500 parcels per stop, varying in size and weight
- Breaks are scheduled and on the road
- Just as much moving/lifting as there is driving so be prepared to sweat!
- Running logistical errands
- Vehicle care and hygiene maintenance.
