About the role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pasteurizer Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our milk processing operation, from managing raw milk deliveries to ensuring correct storage, and operating the pasteurization machine. You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality control, ensuring that all products meet the highest hygiene standards and maintain optimal performance.
Your focus will be on refining current processing methods to achieve consistency, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality protocols—all while upholding the core values of our family business. Additionally, you'll be involved in various duties across the production and bottling areas.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and monitor the pasteurisation machine to meet daily processing volumes
- Perform routine maintenance and daily cleaning of the pasteurisation equipment and milk holding tanks
- Maintain records of the pasteurisation process and product volumes
- Work within our bottling and production area
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Pasteuriser Operator or in a similar role within the dairy or food manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of pasteurisation principles and equipment operation
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow SOP's
- Proficient in record-keeping and data management
- Motivated hands on approach that can work independently
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
