Description:
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to tackle each project effectively.
- Apply your expertise to work on a variety of heavy machinery, earthmovers, trucks, and trailers.
- Set up and adjust metalworking machines and equipment and operate machines to produce parts or tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads.
- Manufacture, repair, and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Operate powered machines that may be manually or computer-controlled.
- Erect machinery and equipment on site as required and inspect machinery regularly, making any adjustments or repairs as required.
- Collaborate with the TME team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- You hold a Manual/light truck license.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
- You possess a self-driven, can-do attitude.
- You pass D&A (Drug and Alcohol) testing.
- You have a trade certification (Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication or relevant experience).
- You bring excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- You excel at working well in a team, even in remote areas.
- You have a strong commitment towards safety and quality.
