Client Description
This is a nurse led clinic. The hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm. This is a 1 - 2 GP post depending on the roster.
Nurses handle acute presentations and on-call duties, while GPs are not required to be on-call. In emergencies and acute cases during and after business hours, nursing staff utilize the NT Health medical deputising service (DMO on-call service). Patient evacuations to Royal Darwin Hospital are coordinated with CareFlight when necessary.
