ABOUT THE ROLE
CQR is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for our comprehensive Radiology practices located at the Rockhampton Hospital and private practices.
As an experienced Enrolled Nurse, you will value teamwork and place quality patient care as your number one priority whist demonstrating a commitment to providing a high-class service to both inpatients and outpatients whilst being part of the team.
You will be supporting the Radiologists and Technical staff to perform an array of interventional procedures including, but not limited to; Picc Lines, Facet injections, Nerve Injections, Epidurals, Drainages, Thoracocentesis, Shoulder Injections, Arthrograms, and other Fluoroscopic, CT or Ultrasound guided procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients, technical staff and Radiologists
- Assist the Wards person to collect and handover inpatients utilising the ISOBAR procedure
- Setup and take down of sterile trays and equipment for radiology procedures
- Focus on delivering consistent high-quality nursing services to our patients.
- Sound knowledge and application for post procedure care, recovery and discharge.
- Maintain and order stock as required
- Commitment to best practice infection prevention and control
- Clean rooms and equipment after infectious patients
- Assist with patient data entry/check-in where required
ABOUT YOU
- Positive can-do attitude
- Registration with AHPRA
- Excellent communication skills required and a commitment to quality patient care.
- Whilst not mandatory, nursing experience in Radiology/Private Practice will be looked upon favourably.
- CPR and Police check
- Willing to assist with tasks outside the scope of traditional nursing

This is a Full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday at the Rockhampton Base Hospital and QTV House practices between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm.
