An opportunity at Huon’s Storm Bay site for an enthusiastic worker to join the Works Crew team!
The role
Reporting to the Assistant Marine Operations manager, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of all necessary fish pen related infrastructure. You will :
- Assist with net, pen and mooring set-up, maintenance, and equipment installation.
- Assist with fish transfers, feed trials, feeding fish and fish health checks.
- Monitor and report all predator activity.
This exciting opportunity is full-time, operating on a 7 on, 7 off roster working Thursday to Wednesday.

Strong time management skills and the willingness to learn new skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within a team. Strong ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm in a changing environment. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive focus on continuous improvement. A commitment to working safely in a dynamic environment, identifying risks, and taking appropriate action.
