Business Partner, People and Culture - To 30 June 2025Respect Victoria (RV) is a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018. We have a broad focus on the primary prevention of family violence and violence against women in Victoria, and collaboratively work with stakeholders to provide state-wide leadership to create social, institutional, organisational and community change. The role
The Business Partner, People and Culture is responsible for delivering end-to-end People and Culture support, expert advice and services related to talent management, culture and engagement, organisational capability, health, safety and wellbeing, and governance and reporting, in accordance with the Respect Victoria People Plan. A key member of the People and Culture team reporting to the Manager, People and Culture and working closely with the Officer, People and Culture, you will partner with our managers and employees to develop, implement and support people and culture practices for our small workforce to build a capable, diverse and inclusive team, who apply their expertise and live our values.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop, continuously improve and deliver localised people and culture services to meet Respect Victoria, the lead department and the community's objectives and expectations
* Coach managers and support staff in People and Culture matters. Model behaviours integral to good people management and Victorian Public Sector and Respect Victoria's values and utilise early intervention and constructive approaches to conflict resolution
* Review, develop and provide advice on the design and implementation of people policies and procedures, consultation processes, organisational change and occupational health and safety
* Build strong connections across Respect Victoria, the lead department, across government and with external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach
* Provide and analyse workforce data and performance reports
