The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Demand Planner to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will support the demand planning process by analyzing data, forecasting demand, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and optimal service delivery. - Assisting Sales Manager
- Growing business with existing customers as well as seeking out and gaining new customer’s
- Taking and processing sales orders and invoicing
- Achievement of set sales targets and budgets
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
- Proactively call prospects, build relationships by understanding their business and challenges
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Forecasting:
- Assist in developing accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
- Regularly update and refine forecasts to reflect changes in market conditions and customer demand.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze sales, inventory, and market data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather inputs for demand planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and flag potential overstock or stockout risks.
- Assist in implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce waste.
- Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Present findings and updates to management and other stakeholders.
- Process Improvement:
- Support initiatives to enhance demand planning processes and tools.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of demand planning best practices.
