Description:
Labourpower is currently seeking 50 x process workers to work in a Food Manufacturing plant in Taren Point across three shifts. These roles will mainly be focused around packing baked products into cartons, mixing and batching raw ingredients and Oven work. These roles will be ongoing with a view to being offered Permanent.
DAYSHIFT : 7.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday OT)
AFTERNOON SHIFT : 3.30pm-11.30pm Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday OT)
NIGHTSHIFT : 11.30pm-7.30am Sunday to Thursday (occasional Friday night OT)
To be successful for this role you will need;
- Experience as a packer or experience working in a fast paced physical environment
- Previous experience in Food Manufacturing and/or commercial Baking experience
- High level accuracy and attention to detail
- Teamwork skills as well as ability to work autonomously
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Be available to start immediately
- Have FULL UNRESTRICTED WORK RIGHTS AND AVAILABILITY
Your duties will include but will not be limited to;
- Fast paced packaging and labelling
- Packing finished products accurately into boxes
- Be able to perform general production paper work and quality checks when required
- Be responsible for quality
- General housekeeping duties
- Monitoring manufacturing machines to ensure they are running smoothly and reporting any faults
- Feeding Ovens and monitoring bake
- Mixing and Batching Ingredients (heavy lifting and attention to detail)
