At Impos, we have been developing point of sale systems since October 2005 and in the past decade, we have grown to become the leading POS provider to the Australian hospitality industry. Our team is based all over Australia and we are currently looking for a Gold Coast based Business Development Manager to join our team.
This will be a full-time role, this role is remote and on-the-road, highly autonomous
What you’ll be doing
As our Gold Coast BDM, your day to day will look like this:
- Obtaining leads through your network, social media, and ad campaigns, and converting those leads into new opportunities
- Building and maintaining client relationships and networking with potential clients at industry events, seminars, trade shows, new venue openings and by cold calling
- Lots of cold calling and cold call-ins to bars, restaurants, cafes, and clubs!
- Following up with prospects and current clients
- Face-to-face sales and interactions
- On the road travel
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts for our Sales team
About you
We are looking for a hunter who loves to close sales orders, is a natural communicator, and has some serious negotiation skills. In addition to those criteria, here’s what you’ll need to be considered for our position:
- Minimum 2 years sales exp (in the hospitality industry would be an added bonus)
- A background in hospitality, would be an added bonus
- You’re a natural communicator – people quickly warm to you
- You can show initiative and are self-motivated
- You can work autonomously
- You have a great sense of fun!
- You have the ability to travel throughout Queensland to visit client venues
