Description:
We are looking for a casual experienced Chef de Partie who is looking to grow and develop their career.
You need to be able to work morning shifts completing a minimum of 2 breakfast shifts per week.
Own transport is essential for the position to be able to commence at 5.30am.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ kitchen experience
- Proven experience in banquets, a la carte’, breakfast and buffets (highly desirable)
- Experience in hotels (highly desirable)
- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience in maintaining a high standard of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Sound knowledge of OH&S in kitchen operations and food standards
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be reliable, punctual and a team player
- Have own transport and able to travel to work
- Have the ability to work at a fast pace with strong attention to the finer details
- Remain calm under pressure
- Ensure food preparation, cooking and presentation are of the highest standards
- Have demonstrated experience to work independently
